Houston Auto Repair

Every hot summer I am reminded of this scam of a shop using junk yard parts (AC compressor) for new $$$. A V8 2dr now has a hair dryer compressor. Vent temp was 55f. Spec is 40f. Owner said screw off.

Seriously an awesome mechanic shop but most of all Dave is wonderful & honest. I'm a single mother and any work on my vehicle can become extremely costly for me and a potential hardship. I had to have some work done on my car and he was great and worked with me. The only mechanic I would trust to not rip me off. The shop "waiting" area is super tiny but if you have to wait, his wife has the cutest little store/cafe/gift shop out back. It's awesome. They have a nice quiet little patio area where you can just sit, have a cup of coffee while waiting for your car. The bathroom is clean and if you prefer to sit inside, they have rooms with tables, chairs and sofas. They even offer board games 😊. Best mechanic shop experience I've ever had. Certainly better to vegetate in his wife's store than the average nasty mechanic's shop.

This is the second car we have taken to the Auto Doc in two weeks and again, we have had a wonderful experience. They do a great job and are fantastic to work with.

Very professional and I did not feel as though they were giving me the run around due to the fact I am a lady. Most car repairs shops try and take the females for more than what the repair cost. I will be returning when needed.

I have been hearing about AUTO DOC for a few years, and had not needed them until this week. I was so happy they took perfect care of my 1999 Sliverado, and was honest, and did great work. I will continue to take my truck to Chris at AUTO DOC. It is difficult to find honest good people these days. I hope this will be shared with others. JIMMY WEAD
